Today is my first day of school I’m so excited!
Uhm don’t I like already have 5 diploma’s?! Well, what can I say… I’m a collector ;)
I’ve been wanting to get certified as a fitness trainer for the longest time now, but an irrational fear of failure has kept me from perusing my dreams for years now.. BUT later’s better than never! It’s my Quarter Century birthday coming up and I’ve decided I’m not going to let an irrational fear control my life any longer. Because I CAN do this! I can do whatever the F(excuse my language) I want AND SO CAN YOU! Don’t ever forget that!
Last week I got excepted to join a study to become a (personal) fitness trainer. I passed the exam with flying colors and now it’s back to school… starting TODAY! I’m super excited and I’m dragging you along with me on my way to FITness

Also, I’m cleansing at the moment.. after falling of the wagon I needed something a little drastic to get me back on track. No animal protein, no sugars – other than root veggies and tart fruits, no nuts & seeds – except nut milk.
I’m juicing, blending and pureeing … so nooooooo chewing … I’m giving my GI tract a little break! However I don’t puree everything into mush completely so there’s a little secret chewing action going on in my day
*sssstt don’t tell*.
Coming weekend I’m doing a juice cleanse with my mum, so I figured this would be a great starting point. Then the juice fast and then transitioning back into a “leaky-gut-friendly-diet”. I’ve got it all figured out I’m feeling great so far BTW! A little more tired than normal, but other than that I’m doing quite well. My strength is as good as ever, my bowel movements are amazing (TMI; I know…
sorry I’m not sorry... it’s good to talk openly about these things guys).
So what have I been loving yesterday & the day before?
- Broccoli Soup with Olive Oil, Garam Masala and Shiitake Mushrooms
- Green Smoothies Galore
- Beet Juice & Carrot Juice (store bought, but 100% juice, no additives, and organic)
- Tomato Juice with Celery Salt
- Protein Shakes
- Sweet Potato Puddings with Chia seeds & Fresh Coconut Cream
- Ghee in my Coffee for extra MCT Fats
- Homemade Almond Milk
You see… there’s NOOOOO need to starve yourself during a cleanse! Depending on your goals of course: you will take in more or less solid food and more or less calories… but since I don’t want to lose an ounce nor do I wanna lose any strength, I’m keeping my calories high Works well for me

The odd one out… a bright orange smoothie… This Protein Shake has been rocking my life lately. Soooo good and the best part … you can totally make multiple servings in advance! The taste is even better the 2nd day! Just blend together: 2 cups carrot juice + 1 avocado + 2 scoops (vanilla) protein + extra vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger to taste. Add a pinch of baking soda. Sweeten with stevia or whatever you prefer and add about 1 cup of water or more to reach the consistency of your preference ♥😍 Gorgeous carrot cake kinda drink! Try it
